I do not believe that laptops necessarily increase achievement or intelligence of our students. Many students use laptops as a distraction and in turn creates issues that the teachers has to deal with or at least keep an eye on. If used properly then a laptop can aid the student in his or her progression of their of their education. A laptop can be a great help in gaining intelligence, however many do not take advantage of the privilege of a laptop. Overall it boils down to the individual, which students who will gain in intelligence, will gain no matter what.
